The UCS ULYSSES is a slim, high-performance electric spindle actuator designed especially for external solar shading systems such as sun blades and louvers. With a minimal external diameter of only 34 mm, it offers powerful actuation in tight spaces and demanding architectural designs.

The actuator operates on 24V DC and provides a thrust and traction force of up to 650 N. Two stroke options are available: 180 mm and 300 mm. Built with a rigid spindle transmission and anodized silver aluminum housing, ULYSSES combines strength, elegance, and durability.

Rated at IP65, it is protected against dust and water, making it suitable for external façade systems. It comes with a steel end bracket and electrical connector for front or back mounting. A rear aluminum bracket and a stroke reduction kit are also available upon request.

The ULYSSES actuator is also compatible with 90° opening side-hung windows, using optional triangular brackets and an electromagnetic locking system to ensure proper sealing. A dedicated version – ULYSSES RWA – is available for smoke and heat extraction systems (SHEV), tested in compliance with EN 12101-2.
